Ever wonder what would happen if the stars of all your favorite SCI FI Channel shows dropped acid together inside a giant mansion? Apparently, so did SCI FI's marketing people. The network has released a two-minute film, "House of Imagination," that highlights its shift from the SCI FI moniker to Syfy. It features stars from Caprica, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Ghost Hunters, Sanctuary, Stargate Universe (Lou Diamond Phillips!), Destination Truth and, yes, ECW.

Here's some info on the network's upcoming online push, from Sci Fi:
"The experience will extend digitally into Syfy.com/Imagine Greater, beginning July 7, where visitors will have a rich, fully interactive and immersive experience as guests at the house party. Visitors will be able to explore parallax rooms and to discover exclusive content including games, behind-the-scenes and making-of footage, cast interviews, downloadable wallpaper and much more."

I'm ok with the new Imagine Greater thing they're trying to do. It's the name change that still has me iffy. SyFy, really? That was the best choice? Well....as long as the shows stay good and the movies get better.

I agree sidmac, and, honestly, I've been pronouncing SyFy to rhyme with 'iffy' - I truly don't get the name change, but, the slogan is fine, if awkward sounding
